Brand new Gig – Easter 2008

New bands make their Pulse gig debut on Friday 21st March 2008. To the Depths and Wounded Within will be two of the new bands performing their latest tunes. Headlining the gig will be Dumbarton band Mellifluous, and a chance to see up and coming talent from the Pulse music development programme.

For the first time the Pulse gig as been themed around equality for young people. To highlight the ‘All Different, All Equal’ campaign there will be a Brazillian samba drumming display and street dancers. Pick up lots of freebies!

Unit 23, Skate Park, Dumbarton will once again play host to the Pulse gig. Come and chill out and enjoy the sounds in this unique venue.

The gig is on from 7pm till 9.30pm, is free of charge, however it is ticket only. You can get tickets from Y sort It representatives, local Police stations, Unit 23 and the bands themselves. Alternatively e-tickets can be obtained by texting the word gig to 07624 818333.

A chance for 12 to 18 years olds to take part in sports and arts activity on Friday nights right across West Dunbartonshire.

Between 6 and 10 each Friday during term time you can get free access to a whole range of urban arts – dance, music, film and design – as well as sports activity – skateboarding, aquadisco and gym sessions.

Professional artists and sports coaches will run these great sessions just for you. They are intended to let you try out new activities as well as improve your skills throughout The Pulse programme...
